This coming Wednesday in AC/DC history…July 27th, 1979.  It is the night before “The World Series Of Rock, Game #1” , a Friday Night, and there are thousands of people starting to get in line for what would be Bon Scott‘s last performance in Cleveland.   People camping out in tents, hoping to get a ticket for one of the greatest concerts ever in Cleveland!  Get a load of this.  One ticket got you in to see The Scorpions(Not on the bill), AC/DC, Thin LIzzy, Journey, Ted Nugent, & Aerosmith!  What do you think the cost of that ticket would be today?  $500.00 – $1,000.00?  Maybe more?  Well back in 1979 at Cleveland Municipal Stadium it was $12.50!   Unfortunately it would be Bon’s last performance in Cleveland, as he would pass away the following February on the 19th.  What an excellent concert though!  In front of 82,500 people, it started at noon and went all day with Aerosmith co-headling with Ted Nugent!  Thursday is the 37th Anniversary of the show and I will give you the whole concert!  But for now, here is a sample of things to come.  AC/DC‘s first tune on that day.  This is “Live Wire!”
